This listing is for a GORGEOUS antique Sterling Silver 7" tray by Whiting Mfg. Co.
The tray features a beautifully embossed grape and leaf design in high relief around the outer body with vines in relief around the upper edge.
Measures 7" long, 4 3/4" wide and 1" high. Weighs 3.3 ounces.
This stunning tray is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
Marked "Sterling, 7118, 7 in., C. HARTDEGEN". Has trademark stamp for Whiting Mfg. Co. of New York in business from 1866-1926 and was retailed by C. Hartdegen & Co. of Newark New Jersey. Whiting Mfg. Co. was absorbed into the Gorham Silver Company in 1926.
